Latest News - Friday February 21st

We've come to the end of half-term and it's been a busy and successful start to 2025. As we head into the break it gives me another opportunity to thank staff for their undoubted commitment to the children, parents for their ongoing support and, of course, our incredible pupils who continue to amaze us everyday. A big thanks also to our superb PTA, yesterday's discos were a huge success and we look forward to more events as the year goes on.

A special mention this week to our rugby team. They took part in a tournament for all the schools in Swansea, playing 6 matches, with their only loss being to the eventual winners. Most importantly, they did themselves proud with their teamwork and sportsmanship throughout! Well done team!

A couple of reminders for the first week back. We'll be celebrating St David's day on Tuesday March 4th and children are welcome to dress in Welsh kits and colours. On Thursday March 6th, we celebrate World Book Day and our PTA Mad Hatter's Party. Children are welcome to dress as their favourite characters or in non-school uniform.

The education welfare team undertook their latest attendance review this week. While there continues to be lots to celebrate, some concerns were raised. Where there are concerns, parents will be invited to meet with the Education Welfare Officer (EWO) after half-term. If you have concerns regarding your child's attendance don't hesitate in getting in touch.
