Thumb up emoticon | Kitty Bucholtz, AuthorLast week, we had the pleasure of watching Mrs Horseman and Mrs Wallace's class assembly where the children took us back in time to teach us all about what life was like living in a castle. This week it was the turn of Mrs Evans and Mrs Thomas' class to deliver an assembly about all things Welsh. The children spoke, acted and sang beautifully. I am sure everyone in attendance thoroughly enjoyed. On Tuesday it was the turn of Miss Fender's and Ms Williams' classes to visit Pembroke castle. Children, staff and volunteers thoroughly enjoyed and the children, once again, did Waunarlwydd proud with their behaviour.

It was the turn of our rugby team this week to show what they're made of and, in our first fixture of the year, they did themselves proud against Mayals School. A big thanks to Waunarlwydd RFC for hosting the fixture.

Don't forget that our awesome PTA will be hosting UV discos next week (Thursday 20th Feb). If you haven't got your tickets yet, pop into the office or as Lara.
