Latest News - Friday January 31st

It's been a busy couple of weeks at Waunarlwydd with our 'Green, green, grass of home' topic really taking shape. As always, the school has been filled with learning and laughter. We are proud of our values and our focus value for this half-term is 'Diversity' with staff and children working together to celebrate and respect differences.

A big well done to our amazing cross-country team that took part in the latest 'Cluster Cup' event today. It was a tricky, muddy 1.5km course but all the children involved showed a magnificent attitude and did themselves and us proud!

REMINDER! We will be aiming to transfer all our communication from text message to Seesaw by the end of this term. If you haven't already registered with Seesaw, please can you do so as soon as possible. If you require any support at all with this process, don't hesitate in making contact. We are here to help, either over the phone or in person. Many thanks for your support!

We hope that those that attended our recent workshops about 'managing social media' and 'managing big emotions' found them useful. Fran, our CAMHS in reach specialist would like to get some feedback from parents to inform future workshops.

'Would you be interested in learning how to support your child with their Well-being, whilst having an opportunity to speak to an emotional well-being practitioner, school staff and other parents/carers? Please complete the form to help us to understand how we can make our workshops more accessible and appealing to you' Fran (CAMHS in-reach)
